Our Time is Quickly Coming to an End at Mesa Regal

Today was our last day of work, in fact what was left of the crew all worked this morning. More about that later.

Monday I began some of the prep chores in getting the camper ready to travel. I aired the camper tires, cleaned the wheels etc., I wanted them to look good going down the road and I greased the MorRyde suspension system. Actually, I not too sure how much grease was in the system because I believe I used a half a tube of grease on them.

Tuesday saw me cleaning the truck. It takes me a bit over an hour to do that mostly because I don't work to fast, but the truck looks good and that is the goal. Later that afternoon we went to Bill & Luddella's to visit with them and have dinner. We went to Texas Roadhouse and had a good meal. It was a good time we will miss them but hopefully we will see them in November.

Thursday after work we stopped by Happy Hour and enjoyed the appetizers our boss Mikki bought for everyone. We said our goodbyes with hugs to all those who are leaving before we are and especially to those who are not coming back next year. To all of our fellow Decor Team members it has been a wonderful and memorable experience for Sarah & I, we will not forget these past four months. So we would like to say to our fellow workampers as they get back on the road:

As I stated before today was our last day of work. We finished at noon and said more goodbyes to our team. We then went to Wendy's for a fish sandwich, I remember liking them and had not had one for a long time so we tried them and they are still good. Then it was time to grocery shop for the road.

The rest of the day has been spent doing very little. I did get the ladders secured to the camper and lubricated the bike rack locks. Other than that I read the rest of the day.

Tomorrow I am taking Steve & Teresa to the airport at five am, then fuel the truck, come home and load the bikes, check the air in the truck tires, make sure the fifth wheel has air in it and put away a few more items and we should be ready to go Sunday morning.

Dreams Do Come True

12 Days Left in Mesa

I know I have said it before but “Where does the time go?” We have two more weeks of work and then back on the road. I am ready for it, I have enjoyed the time here, we have met a lot of great people and hope to stay in touch with them and hopefully work with them again next year. In this life style, the tendency is to meet a variety of individual personalities, some you like some you don’t. I have to say though, like Will Rogers, I haven’t met anyone I didn’t like in our traveling so far.

To bring you up to date about our doings we go back to April 4 and a delightful dinner with Nikki, Jack and Meredith. We went to Sweet Tomato restaurant, now I am not one for a full vegetarian meal, ST is mostly veggies, but they do have a few things that are more to my liking. If you have never been to one, I don’t know what the Midwest has to compare to it, but it is one big salad bar plus soups and breads and it is all very good. We had a great time and have enjoyed being with them. Nikki, Jack and Meredith we hope to see you next winter.

Monday, the 5^th, Colleen and Darrius came over and we had lunch at Midwestern Meats. They have the best tenderloins you will find down here, in fact I believe only two places, MW and the Iowa Café, have tenderloins, that rival any I have had up north. We had a good time and I am glad Colleen has finally made it to the East side.

The 6^th we headed for Casa Grande to see John & Kathy Evans, friends we met in Des Moines, they have been going to Casa Grande every winter for the last 10+ years. They took us to Eloy, AZ to the airport there to watch the skydivers, http://www.skydiveaz.com/. This was something I had wanted to see and I was not disappointed. So no one will ask, there isn’t enough money in the world, well it would take an awful lot of it, to get me to jump from a perfectly good airplane. I watched in amazement at the control the jumpers had with their chutes. The wind began to pick up around noon and so the powers to be suspended further takeoffs but there was one plane still in the air. Evidently when the wind got too high to safely send more jumpers up those, already up had a choice to jump or not to jump. We saw about six come back on the plane. Those that chose to jump had a tough job landing. We saw some land about a quarter to half mile from the landing zone, so a vehicle was dispatched to pick them up, others landing in dust clouds, I don’t know how they knew where the field was but they made it back. It was quite a sight to see the jumpers skid across the grass before coming to a stop and it always looked like they were coming in to fast to avoid injury but they all made it safely.  A few pictures:

The rest of the week, it was nothing but work, work and more work. Actually, we still like doing the job and the great group we work with makes it even better.

Friday night found us going to Colleen & Darrius’ for dinner and the next day a trip to Tucson. Colleen fixed a great dinner of cod with panko, a Japanese breadcrumb, the salad had prosciutto and melon and of course wine. As always, it was delicious. Saturday we headed for Tucson, we left exactly at 8:30; we wanted to be in Tucson by 10 am. Darrius’ sister Deb lives in a gated community for 55+.

There was a townhouse I wanted to look at, it needs too much work inside for the price they want but we will keep an eye on it. The rest of the day was spent with Deb. We ended up for lunch at a Mexican restaurant, http://www.minidito.net/main.html. President Bill Clinton ate here in 1999; in fact, they sat us at the table he ate at. The food was fabulous and very good quality for a modest price. In fact, I have paid more for Mexican food that was nowhere near as good.

We left there and went to the Anita Street Market, http://www.yelp.com/biz/anita-street-market-tucson, they don’t have a website, and I guess their reputation speaks for itself. We bought some green chili, tortillas and em piñatas, I don’t remember ever having the em piñatas but they were fabulous, they are a pastry with filling. The green chili was beef in a broth with green chilies in it and you put the meat on tortillas, fabulous. It was a good thing Darrius has GPS in his car because I don’t know if we would have found it otherwise.

We had a great time seeing Deb and I like Tucson more each time I go there. Deb we will see you in the fall.

We got home around five or so and spent the evening watching TV. Thank you Colleen & Darrius for everything this winter, we have enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to seeing you next winter if not before.

Monday the 12^th was transmission service time for the truck. They changed both filters and did the service, I was in and out in a bit over two hours and they washed the truck for me.

Nothing much happened the rest of the week until Saturday. We went over to Steve & Teresa’s; along with John & Cindi Cline, Mickey & Venita Holbrook and Brad & Suzanne Abernathy, we work together on Wed, Thurs and Friday afternoon. Steve made jambalaya and everyone else brought an appetizer etc. We had a great time sitting around eating a delicious meal and some very interesting conversation, what fun, we will miss these folks, although Brad & Suzanne are working in Rapid City this summer, John & Cindi live in Omaha, and Steve & Teresa and Mickey & Venita are expected back to Mesa next winter so maybe we will get to see everyone again. As with a lot of the folks you meet on the road given enough time your paths will cross again.

Saturday found me putting on the tailgate I bought for the truck last January. I kept putting it off and finally decided I needed to get it done so I bought some items I needed and did it. I had to drill four holes in the truck and two in the gate but I got it done and it looks pretty good.

The next time I write we will be in either Omaha or Des Moines.

Mesa Regal RV Resort

March 1st, where did the time go? It doesn’t feel like we have been here four months, we leave April 1st heading for Omaha, then Des Moines. Lots of things to do, people to see in a short period of time.

I know my kids, and some others, think I talk about food too much. Well, to bad because here I go again. A week ago we went to a restaurant in Phoenix called Rustler’s Rooste, http://www.rustlersrooste.com/. We met Nikki, Jack and Meredith there, I have to get a picture of the three of them, and Terry and Nina Kletting were there also. Terry works for Penske, use to work for Ruan, and he was in town for their annual sales meeting. It was great to see them, I don’t believe I have seen either one for over twenty years they haven’t change a bit, . The food was good but the conversation was even better, it was a great time. They even had an indoor slide for the kids, I am glad they didn’t get a picture of me sliding down it, actually that was the easy part, trying to get back on my feet at the bottom proved to be the most difficult task.

Went to the movie last Saturday and saw This Means War with Reese Witherspoon, it was funny and entertaining, it won’t win any Oscars but it was fun to see.

I took the truck in for an oil change on Monday, I got a birthday deal, half price during my birthday month. When I got home I noticed something wedged between the bug deflector and the hood, it was the oil filler cap. The first thing I thought about was oil all over the engine, it didn’t happen, but I did call the service advisor and informed him of what I found. I need to have the transmission serviced before we leave so I think I will remind him of what happened on the oil and have them check the oil just so they know I am watching them. I doubt it will make much difference but I feel better doing that.

Monday night we went to the Arizona Opry, http://azopry.com/, it was a great evening. We went friends, Bill & Luddella, it was the Rock n Roll and Country show, about half and half. The performers are great, I could have sat and listen to them all night. It was a dinner show, the dinner was chicken, mash potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, dressing, roll and cake, the portions were big so no one went away hungry.

Each of the performers play multiple instruments and all do it very well. The music director of the show and the lead singer is George Staerkel who was the lead singer for the Tokens and sang “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, which he sang. I bought some of their CDs and George, we are on a first name basis, except I don’t believe I told him my name, oh well, signed on of them for Sarah.

Linda Carter, Wonder Woman for the whenever, had a show at one of the other resorts, we could have gone but decided not to. I heard the show was pretty good and for a 61 year old she still looks good. Marie Osmond is coming to one of the resorts later this month but we are going to skip that one also.

Thursday the 9^th we went to the Arizona Coyotes NHL game, the first pro hockey game I have seen. We met everyone at Val Vista, another Cal-Am resort, there were twenty plus people so we had a bus chartered to take us to the game. We arrived at the arena an hour or so early which gave us time to go to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. Nice place, a bit over priced but the food was good.

Saturday the 11^th it was Roller Derby night. Now I have never been to a Roller Derby and if it wasn't for the $5 Groupon tickets I still would have never been to a Roller Derby and I am not sure what it would take to get me to go to another one. It was a lot of fun though; there were ten of us from our Workamper group that went. We met at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, http://www.pappadeaux.com/location/?id=36, they have great food, I would give it $$$ on the menu cost but the food was worth it and the portions were huge. After dinner, we headed over to the Roller Derby, which is held on an ice hockey rink, http://www.azderbydames.com/. I remember watching Roller Derby on TV many years ago, I didn’t watch it much but I did see it a couple of times, so I was expecting to see a banked oval and the participants pushing and shoving each other over the rails, didn’t happen. There was some pushing and shoving but I believe most of them fell over one another or just plain didn’t skate well. Now I am no skater and could never do what they do but in my opinion, it isn’t worth a $10 admission. Overall, we still had fun and it was an enjoyable evening.

Sunday we were up bright and early to begin our trip to Las Vegas, it was put together by World Span Tours, this is a group who has a booth at the vendor’s market each Friday here in the park. Anyway, we parked the truck at the office and met up with our traveling companions, John & Cindi Cline they are from Omaha, and we walked about three blocks to the pickup point for the trip. We boarded a bus and left at 6:30 am headed for Las Vegas. It had been 30 years since Sarah & I had been in Vegas so we were excited to see what was new. Actually, the newest thing isn’t in Vegas it is the new bridge for crossing the river at the Hoover Dam. We didn’t get any good pictures of the dam etc. because the bus had to be in the inside lane of the bridge but the view of the river and the canyon was spectacular. It was a great trip up with two rest stops to stretch and get something to eat. I had to get a key card for each casino, some of them have banded together, must be common ownership, and you get one card good for several casinos. Of course, I am never going to gamble enough to get anything out of them but it is a good souvenir. We stayed at the Fremont downtown, nice hotel and clean. Monday we bought passes for the city transit bus, rode to the end of the strip, and began walking toward downtown, we walked from the end to Treasure Island hotel and we were all beat so we got back on the bus to go back to the Fremont. We ate with the two for one coupon everyone gives out and these provide a good value, and more important the food was very good.

We left Vegas at 1 pm Tuesday the 14^th and had an uneventful trip home, stopping at the same places as going up, we got home about eight. Great trip, great time, we saw a lot and had great traveling companions.

Wednesday, tonight we got home from work and had no power in the camper. The electric post had no power so I called the resort emergency number and a person came over. He verified we had no power at the post and called Raul, who works for the resort; he came over and determined we had power; someone had messed with the breakers. I had flipped the breaker for our camper and the others that are in the panel but all of them went to the same location. It seems the resort had a power outage yesterday and I have a feeling someone messed with the breakers. However, we still did not have power. Therefore, I get on the internet, on my phone, and began looking for a mobile RV service. The first one I called three times to no avail, the second one I called and left a message, I didn’t hear back from them. The third one, RV Eagle Mobile RV Service, Nick answered and said he would be right over. He was there within 15 minutes, determined the cause and had it corrected in five minutes and diagnosed a refrigerator problem for me, cost me $80 dollars but we had power back and I have another option to look at if we lose power again.

I figured since I had Nick here I would ask him about the fridge not working on gas, he checked it out and it seems I have a bad circuit board so I will have to have it replaced, not cheap but a whole lot less expensive than a new fridge. Therefore, I have to get back with him so he can order the new board.

The rest of the week didn’t have much happening until Saturday.

Saturday we headed for Tucson. Sarah’s brother Bob was celebrating his 80^th birthday and we were going down to help him celebrate.Sarah, Bob, Judy.

We couldn’t get a fire permit so there is only one candle on Bob’s cake and the candle played Happy Birthday.

We got there around noon and visited for a bit. Bob had just gotten a new phone and was having trouble hearing it ring so we adjusted the volume and he needed a new carrying case for it. Since the Sprint store was in the same area as the Olive Garden, we went there for dinner. We had the soup and salad, always my favorite, and had a great time. Then it was back to their place for cake and ice cream. Bob and Judy live in Far Horizons RV Resort, http://www.tucsonvillage.com/, it is a nice place with several hundred units, the majority of them are park models.

After cake we headed over to Deb Baker’s townhouse, this is Darrius’ sister, where we were spending the weekend. Deb has lives in a great development, it is a gated community with pool and clubhouse, we would love to have a place there for the winter. There are some one bedroom for sale but we would want a two bedroom and there are none of them available I would want.

Sunday we went to church at St Thomas Moore Catholic Newman Center, http://www.uacatholic.org/, this is a small church, which ministers to the students and locals alike. We met great niece Delaney there and her friend Emily. After church, Delaney showed us around campus. I was very impressed with the campus; it wasn’t intimidating like some are. I really liked the open mall area, which extends for a couple blocks. The thing I found very interesting is the number of eating choices they have. I remember when I was in school you had the dorm cafeteria or the student union had a café of sorts. Delaney has a choice between ten or more eating establishments. Of course, some of you are going to say when I was in school you wrote on papyrus but in fact, it wasn’t THAT many years ago. Was it?

I am not really sure what this was except I thought it looked great. It seemed to have all the plants that grow in the desert.

Just off campus, as it is with many colleges, there were a couple blocks of business district, which caters to the student’s needs, more restaurants, drink places, clothes and the like. We ate at Gentle Bens, a microbrewery, http://gentlebens.com/, the food was not bad and the service was good. We finished the tour with a visit to Delaney’s dorm, she is in the honor’s dorm, it is a building that is over a hundred years old but has been updated to accommodate the needs of today’s students. The only thing that hasn’t changed over the years is the size of the room, it was very small but Delaney and her roommate seem to manage. We also visited the awesome fitness and rec center the university has, it is something to see. There is no excuse for the students not to be in great shape.

It was then time to say good-bye, Delaney walked with us to where we had parked and with hugs, we took off.

As were driving down Speedway Street toward I-10 I remember Lazydays RV had taken opened a park in Tucson so we headed for it. I wasn’t sure where it was but I had an idea of the location. I hit it lucky and found it. The location is the old Beaudry sales and RV park. We stopped at the registration and visited with the folks. It turns out the park has been open since last Sept, after being closed for a year or so, and they use seasonal workers in the RV sales area and only had one couple who were workampers in the campground. We drove through the park and it seemed quite nice, http://lazydaysrvcampground.com/.

Then it was back to Deb’s place with a stop at the Foothills Mall, Sarah’s idea not mine. We were there about forty-five minutes and the to Deb’s. Deb fixed a delicious roast in the crock-pot for dinner; I love this type of meal because I like the little potatoes you use in it. Therefore, I ate more than I should but it was so good.

The rest of the evening we visited, watched TV and Deb beat my scores in Bejeweled 2 on the IPad.

Monday was a beautiful day and we spent it at the Pima Air & Space Museum, http://www.pimaair.org/, this is a must visit if you are in Tucson. We spent over four hours there and didn’t come close to seeing everything. I wanted to see the airplane bone yard, also called AMARC, http://www.amarcexperience.com/AMARCDescription.asp, at Davis Mountain AFB but because it was a federal holiday, they were not open. So that is for my next visit, which won’t be until fall, but I am guessing it will still be there.

We left the museum and went to Frost Gelato, http://frostgelato.com/, you talk about good this stuff was great and there were twenty different flavors to choose from. It was great.

Then it was back to Deb’s to pack the truck and head home to Mesa.

We had a great weekend in Tucson, great weather, it was fun visiting with everyone, and seeing the University of Arizona was a treat too.

We are down to less than six weeks left here. Where does the time go?

Mesa Regal RV Resort

We are half way through our stay here and I have to admit I REALLY like it here. I have been remiss in my blogging so here goes to try to catch up on what we have been up to.

I will begin where I left off, which was going on the boat ride on Canyon Lake. Our workweek does not change, it is Wed-Fri afternoons and I like this schedule. Therefore, unless something interesting happens at work I won’t talk about it.

On Saturday Jan 21^st we went to Steve & Teresa Heede , John & Cindi Cline, went with us, Steve likes to cook and so we all chipped in and he bought a pork loin, I believe that is what it was, and cooked it, we all brought a side dish to go with the pork. Now I have had good pork before and Steve’s rates right up there with the best. He did a great job on it, we all took some of the leftovers and I am telling you the pork was as good or maybe a bit better latter the next week. We had a great time, we even had Blue Bunny ice cream, and John retired from Blue Bunny after 30+ years so he will not eat any other. So I am asking all of you when you buy ice cream buy Blue Bunny, I want John to keep getting his retirement checks.

On Monday, John & Kathy Evans, from Griff’s RV Park in Altoona, IA, were in town to go to Camping World and we met them for lunch at Midwestern Meats. They are staying at http://www.sundance1rv.com/intro.html in Casa Grande, AZ. We had a great lunch and a great time visiting with them. We are planning to visit them in the next couple of weeks; John says the area is a great place to watch skydivers.

On Thursday the 26^th, Sarah’s sister Cynthia,  came into town for a visit. We rode the light rail out to the airport stop and got off and Cynthia rode the shuttle bus over to the rail stop. The city is building a rail system in the airport, which connects to the light rail system by a walkway over the street. I guess that will do away with the shuttle bus ride. Anyway, it was great to see Cynthia. She stayed with us in the camper. Sarah and I had to work Friday morning but Cynthia knew a couple who winter at Good Life Resort and they came over to pick her up for the day.

We rented a Ford Escape at Enterprise, I prefer them they have the neighborhood locations and are very competitive. I had never driven an Escape before and it proved to be a good ride. We took off Saturday morning for Tucson to see the ladies’ brother Bob and his wife Judy; they winter at, http://www.tucsonvillage.com/, a very nice park. I believe they have around 600 sites, mostly park models, plus all of the amenities. Cynthia stayed at the park model and Sarah & I stayed with Darrius’ sister Deb at her townhouse in north Tucson. We really like her townhouse, it is in a gated community with pool and clubhouse, http://www.55places.com/arizona/communities/mona-lisa-village, it is a 55+ community.

We came home Sunday afternoon, with a stop somewhere on I-10 for ice cream. The weather was perfect and Sarah wore Cynthia out with walking around the park. Tuesday we had a short meeting to go to for work, other than that we hung around the area. Cynthia’s flight was for eight that evening, so we rode the light rail to the airport stop and walked the shuttle bus stop and with hugs, she was on her way back to Iowa. We hope she will make this an annual trek and stay longer the next time.

We had a mishap at work, Steve, John, Mickey and I were tearing out the bath of a new storage unit we were going to be using when Steve ripped open his left arm on a piece of broken mirror. We went to an Urgent Care facility only to be told they don’t do emergency work, they told us where the closest emergency room was and we headed for it. He had cut the muscle and it took a bunch of stitches by the time the doc had him all sewed up. He will be fine in a couple of weeks but Steve is an avid mountain biker and this has slowed him down a bit.

We went to Colleen & Darrius’ for the super bowl game, spent the night and came home this morning. Tyler, Angela and the kids were there. Good game, Sarah won some money and the food was great. We always have a good time going to their home. Darrius makes a great Bloody Mary.

I have some chores to do, one is clean the camper roof and I don’t know if I will do it or hire it done but it does need it. I also bought a device, which replaces the caps on the batteries, and has a tube attached to it to facilitate putting water in the batteries. For me to check the batteries I have to remove them and that is more of a chore than I want so hopefully this will let me fill the batteries without making it a big job. One of the lights over the kitchen island is burned out so I went to replace it and I can’t get the bulb out, so I am going to take it down and see what I can do, that should be interesting.

I did accomplish something today, I finished a James Patterson book Hide and Seek, it was a pretty good book, I did not guess the ending, it surprised me, and I didn’t look either.

Mesa Regal RV Resort

It has been awhile since I last posted. It is not as easy as it seems to post every week, I do not know how folks blog each day. I want to blog each Saturday but there is always something to do and I do not get it done. Oh well!

It is Wednesday Jan 18 and we have to work this afternoon but I am going to write as much as I can and finish later. I have learned that by putting a lot of pictures in my blog I am using up to much of my 5GB limit per month. The free WIFI here in the park is not good, I have talked about it before, so I will limit the pictures. Maybe I will do an album in Picasa and put a link to it, we will see.

Russ Cerniglia, a former Ruan employee and inventor of Russ & Frank’s BBQ Sauce, http://www.russandfranks.com/, arrived in Tempe, Jan 3^rd, for a conference and we met him for dinner at Monti’s, http://www.montis.com/, the food was very good and it is always great to visit with Russ. Candi, we wish you would have been with him but we did enjoy seeing Russ.

On Jan 7, we went to Nikki Becker-Albert’s for dinner. Nikki’s husband Jack fixed a shrimp dish that was very good. We really enjoyed being with them again and daughter Meredith was very persuasive in her Girl Scout cookie sales, I bought several boxes. I figure I will take some to Happy Hour on Thursdays and eat the others.

Colleen called and invited us to their house for dinner on Sunday, spend the night and leave Monday morning. I will never refuse an invite from her; she has turned into a fabulous gourmet cook. She has come a long way since Burlington in her culinary expertise. We have a lot of fun and enjoy staying at her and Darrius’ home.

Tuesday we rode the Metro Light Rail, http://phoenix.about.com/od/transbus/a/lightrail.htm, with fellow workampers, John and Cindi Cline from Omaha, I enjoyed the ride immensely. It is clean and runs on time. We rode to the end of the line and back to the Mill Rd stop and got off there. The idea of riding it was to check it out as a means of transportation for Sarah’s sister, Cynthia, when she comes visiting next week. It should be a breeze going out to get her. The Mill Rd stop is in downtown Tempe, so we had lunch at Five Guy’s, never order the large French fries there. We walked around downtown looking in on some of the stores, had some ice cream and rode the train back to the end of the line in Mesa. There is free parking there so we had driven the truck and parked it there.

Wednesday, we worked and in the evening we went to see Christine/Ali, America’s Got Talent finalists, they put on a fifty minute show, singing some of their own original songs. The show was good but it is not one I would see again.

Saturday we went to the Organ Pizza Stop with John & Cindi. I have written about this place before, I really enjoy the entertainment, and the pizza is not bad either.

Sunday we had another invite to Colleen & Darrius’ for dinner and we stayed the night and left Monday morning about 9:30.

Monday we went to Canyon Lake with Bill & Ludella Hoggart, we caravanned to Mesa with them. We took a boat ride on the Lake and really enjoyed it, http://www.dollysteamboat.com/. We were able to see a nesting Bald Eagle, and some big horn sheep. The guide said volcanoes formed the lake eons ago and in some parts of the canyon walls, you see petrified wood. It was a great ride and I found it very interesting. After the ride we ate lunch at the Canyon Lake restaurant, http://www.canyonlakerestaurant.com/index.htm, the food was good and you can watch the boats out on the lake. The drive up to the lake and home again is along hwy 88, it has some great turns in it and you do not go very fast because the edge of the drop offs from the road are quite steep. We spent the rest of the day at Bill & Ludella’s and had pizza to round out our day.

I have to tell you also Sarah drove the truck home from Costco last week and she did a good job of it, she only went off two curbs. I told her all she has to do is take wide turns and she will not do that. I am going to have to let her drive more often.

I watched Nebraska get beat today, Iowa and Iowa State lost on Friday and Wisconsin is playing now. None of the teams I wanted to win could win so maybe I shouldn’t watch football. Oh well it is still fun to watch.

We worked Tues, Weds, and Thurs last week and had Friday off giving us a five day break, we are back to our regular schedule of Wed-Fri this week. Should be busy picking up and putting away all the decorations for the Christmas/New Years parties.

New Year’s eve we went to Bob & Judy Van Cleave’s camper for the evening, their friends John & Marie were there also. We played chicken feet dominoes and a game called left, right, hold dice, I think that was the name of it. We had a great time. Sarah had a new drink, vodka flavored with a whip cream flavor and orange soda, it tasted like dream sickles, very good.

As I mentioned before we were at Colleen and Darrius’ for Christmas. One of the TV programs they watch is HDGTV house hunting etc. and I just want to say they got me interested it that channel, so now I find myself staying up watching these shows, I don’t know why but I find them interesting.
